Stain removal

Zote comes in a box of flakes now. Saw it at Walmart.
Also, my kid works at a restaurant and wears white long sleeved shirts. They get filthy, especially the cuffs. I sprayed them and washed twice. Still dirty and stained. So I poured CLOROX ULTIMATE CARE BLEACH on the cuffs followed by BORAX. Using gloves and a mask I did a little hand scrub and watched the stains disappear. Washed as usual. Voila

Recycled coffee cans

Covered coffee can to hold snips (thread & fabric scraps) or notions. We use the huge cans at our quilting bees.

Tub and tile cleaner

This is my version of a Pinterest cleaner of soap scum.

1/2 cup Dawn concentrated
1 1/2 cup white vinegar

Put into spray bottle and gently shake to mix.
Spray tub and tiles.
My tub is a one-piece tub and walls.
Left on a couple of hours with the exhaust fan on.
Rinsed off with the hand-gel shower attachment. Voila'!!!!! Clean.
